Pixie Journey didn't begin as a branding exercise. It grew out of real life at home in Tasmania — a black rescue cat, visiting wallabies, pademelons at dusk, and the small gentle moments that shaped the feeling of Lalah's world.

Why This Page Exists

Pixie Journey is built around gentle noticing — colour, mood, pattern, season, and everyday life.

This page exists because the world behind the brand is real. These animals, this garden, and this quiet Tasmanian rhythm are part of what shaped Lalah from the beginning.

Everyone who helps make this little world feel alive

They weren't invented for a story. They're part of the place we live in, draw in, and keep returning to.

Lenny Lamb Chops

Rescue Cat · JustCats Tasmania

Chief Quality Controller

Lenny is a black rescue cat and the unofficial supervisor of everything creative. He was rehomed through JustCats Tasmania after being found homeless in Kings Meadows, and has since made it his job to inspect every sketchbook, interrupt every workspace, and claim any surface that looks even remotely important.

Calm when he feels like it. Dramatic when it suits him. Always nearby when something is being made.

His bright green eyes and quiet watchfulness have shaped more of Lalah's world than you might expect.

  • Rehomed through JustCats Tasmania
  • Sits on anything currently in use
  • Favourite spots: baskets, laundry racks, unexpected places
  • Unofficial role: quality control and interruption

Lily & Jojo

Bennett's Wallaby · Garden Visitor

The morning regulars

Lily began visiting the garden while pregnant and, over time, simply became part of daily life. She kept returning, usually in the morning, and the garden gradually became one of the places she trusted.

Later came Jojo, her second joey. Watching them move through the gravel, garden beds, and morning light became part of the rhythm of home.

Their presence is one of the clearest reasons Pixie Journey feels the way it does — gentle, observant, and connected to the natural world.

  • Bennett's wallaby
  • Became a familiar visitor while pregnant
  • Jojo is her second joey
  • A constant part of the garden's daily rhythm

Padme & Tiny Tim

Tasmanian Pademelons · Dusk Visitors

The quietest members

Padme and Tiny Tim are the quieter visitors. They tend to appear softly — lower to the ground, darker in tone, and easiest to notice in the changing light of late afternoon or dusk.

Tiny Tim was incredibly small when first spotted, and the name stayed. Even as he grew, that tiny presence remained in memory.

Together, they bring a softer, quieter side of Tasmania into Lalah's world.

  • Native Tasmanian pademelons
  • Smaller and more discreet than wallabies
  • Most visible in softer evening light
  • Tiny Tim was named when first spotted very small

"Lalah's world grew out of real life at home in Tasmania — animals at the door, movement in the garden, and the quiet details that make a place feel alive."
